Carlo Benedetti is a Staff Scientist at the BELLA Center of the Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics Division of LBNL. The research activity of Carlo is devoted to the theoretical investigation and numerical modeling of the physics of laser-plasma interactions, with emphasis on applications to plasma- based acceleration and advanced accelerator concepts. He has a degree in physics from the University of Bologna (Italy), and a Ph.D. in physics also from the University of Bologna.
